It's been a while since I've written. We've certainly been through many changes as a band since Tina and I started Prima Donna. Well, it looks like everything comes around again. We are back to the begining in a sense. Our line up has evolved to include two new members that are actually two familar faces to the band. On drums joining us again is Dave Wiesinger who had played with TIna and I way back when we first started playing out as a band. He was the first drummer that we ever played live professionally with. He's back, and his drumming is better than ever! Dave is one of the most creative and dynamic drummers that I know. His style blends nicely with our music. We are excited to be working with him again.
And, on lead vocals, we're thrilled to welcome back Debbie Kernan. Debbie was the original lead singer for the band when we recorded our first full length CD, "Not Having Fun." We separated for a while and now we're reunited and it feels great to be together again. Debbie has an awesome voice, and she's one of the coolest people to work with! Her vocal style and personality are a natural fit for the band. We're grateful to have her back again!
So with this excellent line-up it's now time to record some new music. It's about time, right?
We are in pre-production right now, we will begin recording a new EP at the end of this month. Hopefully it should be ready for a spring release date. Then we'll be booking lots of shows...
